Job Description:

Zillah Nazarene Church is seeking a passionate and Spirit-led Worship and Youth Pastor to lead and develop both our worship and youth ministries. This dual-role position is designed for an individual who has a heart for engaging worship and discipleship, a love for mentoring and equipping the next generation, and a desire to serve in a team-oriented church environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Worship Ministry:

Plan and lead weekly worship services, ensuring they are Spirit-filled and Christ-centered.
Recruit, develop, and oversee volunteer musicians, vocalists, and media team members.
Select and arrange music that aligns with the theology and vision of the Church of the Nazarene.
Lead rehearsals and foster a culture of excellence, humility, and spiritual growth within the worship team.
Manage worship technology, including sound, lighting, and projection systems.
Collaborate with the pastoral team to create meaningful worship experiences for special services (e.g., Easter, Christmas, revival services).

Youth Ministry:

Develop and implement a biblically sound discipleship program for 6th-12th grade students.
Organize and lead weekly youth gatherings.
Plan and oversee youth events, retreats, service projects, and mission trips.
Mentor and build relationships with students, guiding them in their spiritual growth.
Equip and train adult leaders and volunteers to effectively minister to youth.
Engage with students in the community and support their involvement in church life.
Partner with parents to encourage faith development at home.

Qualifications:

A deep and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrated through personal spiritual disciplines.
Alignment with the theology and doctrine of the Church of the Nazarene.
Experience in worship leadership, with proficiency in vocals and/or at least one instrument
Experience in youth ministry, with a passion for mentoring and discipleship.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with church leadership, volunteers, and families.

Education in ministry, worship arts, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
