Worship Pastor: Job Description Reports to: Lead Pastor Lead the Sunday Morning Worship Experience:
- Work with the Lead Pastor to create compelling worship experiences that outsiders love to attend
- Oversee the preparation and execution of all production and tech for the main stage
- Lead the Volunteer Huddle with the worship/tech team
- Lead rehearsals, and run thru’s in preparation for Sunday
- Schedule volunteers for the band to fill the stage Work in advance with team to schedule services well in advance (at least 3-4 weeks lead time)
Lead the Worship/ Production Teams:
- Recruit new volunteers for the worship/production team
- Train volunteers to grow in their skills and passion for the mission
- Raise up leaders who will own the mission of Williams Lake Church
- Equip volunteers with what they need and put them in positions to win
- Create community and excitement for members of the team
- Lead the team spiritually
Oversee production tools :
- Organize all sound, lights, and media equipment in the Sanctuary
- Upgrade (when possible) systems to help us grow in our ability to create compelling worship experiences outsiders love to attend.
- Create systems for training and operation that are sustainable, and transferable.
- Help improve quality of Live Stream (as a front door for outsiders)
Other Duties :
- Dream BIG
- Dream/ Lead potential future outreach opportunities with Lead Pastor (Recovery, Community engagement etc.)
- Love people well, praying for their needs and helping with pastoral care when necessary.
- Raise up new leaders around the church, speaking encouragement and life as a representative of the staff.
- Meet with Lead Pastor 1 on 1 regularly willing to have open/ honest dialogue
- Participate in all staff gatherings
