Worship Leader

Overview

Responsibilities (Worship Leader)

Work with the lead pastors to plan and execute powerful worship
experiences where people encounter the presence of God.

Plan and run regular rehearsals in an effort to fulfill our value of
excellence in worship.

Pray for, encourage, and provide pastoral care to the Worship &
Media Teams under your care.

Develop, oversee, and steward the annual worship & media budget.
Oversee and work alongside our broadcast/tech/sound team and
ensure volunteers are adequately trained and equipment is working properly.

Prepare lyrics presentations as well as oversee any necessary graphics and/or videos for Sunday worship experiences using our EasyWorship program.
Oversee the maintenance and upgrades made to our A/V and
production equipment.

Be available to assist with music and/or sound for funerals and weddings, any “special” worship nights, and other outreach events (as needed).
Work well with the rest of the team in planning, evaluating, and
executing life-giving ministry at Victory Hills.

Participate in church-wide outreach & fellowship events.
Occasional additional duties as assigned by the lead pastors.

Qualifications (Worship Leader)

Committed Follower of Jesus
Anointed worshipper
Passion for the arts
Teachable spirit
Empowering to others
Strong musical background and able to speak the language of
musicians and direct them at a high level.

Proficient vocalist and able to teach vocal parts
Proficient guitar and/or keyboard skills are a “plus”, but not absolutely necessary
Technically skilled (EasyWorship, Streaming platforms, Sound boards, etc.)
Driven and able to meet deadlines
Engagement on social media platforms
Strong leader
Team-oriented
Good communication skills
Fun to be around and work with!

Compensation

If the Candidate will fill both the Worship Leader *and* the Youth Pastor Roles:

Weekly remuneration discussed upon further interest PLUS…

Free parsonage home on the church property (equal to $1200-1500/mo rental value)
