At Valleyview, we believe that all kinds of ministries are important. However, there is something special about the worship ministry of the church. Getting to lead people into the presence of the Father is an amazing aspect of what church is all about.
We are searching for a worship pastor who is called and qualified to lead our music ministry. Our average attendance is 125, going up to 200 at special services. We are seeking someone is capable of leading a growing program with an emphasis on discipleship and community formation.
Specific Qualifications Include:
- Vocal and musical proficiency
- The ability to organize the worship team volunteers
- Knowledgeable about sound technology and worship media
- A team player and team builder who focuses on the values and ministries of the entire church
Specific Ministry Roles Include:
- Participate in the planning of the worship services
- Advising staff and leadership on the use of worship tech
- Lead worship services and other worship activities
- Prepare and administer the Worship Ministry budget.
- Serve as Staff Advisor for church board committees as assigned by the pastor.
- Other duties as assigned.
