PRESCHOOL/DAYCARE DIRECTOR POSITION AVAILABLE
 
Career Opportunity: Director of Christian Preschool and Day Care.

Are you passionate about early childhood education and the Christian faith? Do you have experience leading a team and creating a nurturing environment for young children to grow and learn? We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as the Director of Sonshine Place Preschool and Day Care, located in the beautiful community of Tehachapi, CA.

Key Responsibilities:
– Provide visionary leadership for the preschool and day care programs
– Develop and implement a curriculum that integrates Christian values and teachings
– Oversee the hiring, training, and supervision of staff members
– Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care
– Foster a warm and welcoming environment for children, parents, and staff
– Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the quality of the preschool  
   program, including use of implementation of technology use
– Purchase or order materials needed for daily care of program, cleaning supplies,
   teaching materials, and classroom items
– Facilitate tours and interview prospective families
– Maintaining a healthy relationship with cooperative entities, such as host church,
    and cleaning crews, etc.
– Manage enrollment and tuitions payments

Qualifications:
– Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, but not required
– Completed a minimum of 12 semester units of course work in early childhood education or
   child development as prescribed by the State of California
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a preschool or day care setting
– Strong understanding of Christian principles and values
– Understanding and compliance of State licensing and requirements
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to collaborate with staff, parents, and community members
