Worship and Associate Pastor

Job Description

Worship:

·       Create a biblical, engaging worship experience for regular weekly services, special events, and outreaches.

·       Oversee and coordinate all worship team members including singers, musicians, and sound media team in consultation and coordination with the media/technology director.

·       Recruit, train, and mentor vocalists and musicians, and assist sound/media team members to provide a visually and acoustically excellent worship experience, including spiritual mentorship.

·       Coordinate weekly rehearsals and other gatherings for worship and discipleship.

·       Create a place for the presence and moving of the Holy Spirit to be a priority.

·       Provide pastoral care for the entire worship and tech ministry teams.

·       Demonstrate proficiency in understanding elements of mix, dynamics, arrangement, roles of band members, working on harmonies with vocalists, etc.

Worship arts director needs to have functional understanding of   Multi-tracks and Planning Center.
