Overview
Spokane Valley Church of the Nazarene is looking for our next Youth and Worship Pastor!
Valley currently averages anywhere between 15 to 20 students on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. Our Sunday morning worship attendance is anywhere between 150 to 200.
But beyond numbers…what can be said about the role?
Well, for starters, you’ll be stepping into a multi-generational church that is ready to take major leaps in helping to build God’s Kingdom in Spokane Valley. Seriously…God is on the cusp of doing something amazing here! You’ll also have the opportunity to help lead the church as part of a fun-loving and family-oriented staff that loves what they get to do for the Lord, and love doing it together. It really is a team effort!
Our youth ministry is blessed to have a dedicated group of volunteers that desire to watch our students grow in their relationship with Jesus. This includes an amazing parent-led team who oversee our long-standing quizzing ministry that is highly active in both competition and discipleship. We also have an extremely gifted team of musicians and tech-savvy volunteers that help lead our congregation in worship every Sunday.
The only piece missing is a dynamic pastor who is ready to love and care for our students, lead the church in worshipping God through music, and cast vision and guide our volunteer teams into what God wants to accomplish next!
Basic Details:
- This is a flexible, full-time job (40 hours a week)
- Sunday to Thursday, including Wednesday evenings
- Wage dependent on experience and qualifications
