Preschool Assistant Director/Lead Teacher

Overview

SonShine Christian Academy, a ministry of River Valley Church of the Nazarene, is currently accepting resumes for our next Assistant Director/Lead Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.

SonShine is a play-based preschool for 3 to 5-year-olds specializing in multi-faceted experiential learning. Our indoor and outdoor learning spaces have been specifically curated for maximum learning engagement.

SonShine uses Brigthwheel Childcare Management Software along with Experience Early Learning Curriculum.

Position Requirements:

A personal relationship with Jesus Christ

At least one year of experience in a pre-school setting.

An understanding of play-based learning experiences with developmentally appropriate practices.

Engaging positively in person and through online communications with parents and families.

A desire to collaboratively plan and teach with the team.

A degree in early childhood education is preferred.
