Worship Director/Creative Arts

The Worship Director will lead all of the creative arts ministry, with special focus in areas of worship & tech.

 

Key Responsibilities

Even though we have a huge influence on the Sunday gathering, the people who serve on our creative, worship and tech teams are the ones we have the most contact with. They are the people we get to help shape in becoming more like Jesus. We do this by:

SHEPHERDING THE TEAM

–      Intentional Individual connection

–      Hang time outside of church with no agenda

–      Team Nights (Relational connection, prayer, teaching, worship)

–      Community groups

–      Team retreats

 

LEADERSHIP  / COACHING

–      Recruiting / Auditioning / Training / Empowering / Releasing / Supporting / Encouraging

–      Trips to other churches, conferences, etc., to inspire and build relationships

–      Raising up worship leaders for other ministries and future campuses

–      Train & Coach worship leaders for RidgeKids and The Ridge Student Ministries

 

SERVICES / SUNDAYS

–      Creating an engaging and meaningful experience at every service (Music, Audio, Visual, Graphics, etc.)

–      Leading the congregation well by the songs we select at each service while stretching them into new songs and styles.

–      Pastoring the congregation well by the words that we say from the platform.

–      Teams engaged in the church on and off stage

–      Teams with servant hearts. (Not just coming and going from stage)

 

EVENTS

–      Creating events that will engage people outside our community that are far from Christ. (Singing Christmas Tree, etc.)

–      Teams traveling to lead at other churches, conferences, camps, events, etc.

 

PRODUCTION

–      Create & Plan engaging special services including Good Friday, Christmas Eve, prayer services, etc.

–      Decorate the sanctuary & stage to coordinate with seasons and sermon series

–      Oversee social media channels and publish engaging content that both promotes our mission and disciples people throughout the week

–      Produce testimony and highlight videos

–      Build a creative team to capture photos, create art, design, etc. and support staff with graphic design

Engage our online audience with chats, content, etc.

 

Core Tasks

–      Oversee service planning, scheduling and leadership

–      Coordinate weekly rehearsal

–      Administrate the ministry, including scheduling, communication, and managing software platforms including Planning Center, Multitracks, Pro-Presenter and streaming software.

–      Develop leaders & give pastoral care to volunteers and leaders as needed.

–      Meetings with Staff & Lead Pastor or Campus pastor every week.

–      Provide AVL support to other departments whenever possible.

–      Supervise worship leaders at other campuses
