Youth Pastor

POSITION PROFILE:
Regency Park Church is seeking a high-level, high-capacity, hungry-to-learn leader who can work both independently and collaboratively as the Youth Pastor. This position will oversee all aspects of ministry from 7th-12th grade as well as college age (18-24ish year olds).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the Lead Pastor to determine best practices to inspire students to know, follow and love Jesus.
• Assess and identify the needs of students within the church framily and larger community.
• Collaborate with Staff and ministry leaders to develop a strategy for students that will assist in their growth and development.
• Design and/or oversee programs aimed at the integration of parent insight and the development of strong parent-leader relationships.
• Oversee all student ministries activities including but not limited to, student min worship, discipleship groups, outreach, fellowship, and other related student min. activities.
• Develop a strategy and lead an effort to increase adult volunteer participation in student min.
• Recruit, train, and develop volunteer leadership teams made up of parents with a calling to work with students.
• Develop positive relationships with students and their parents.
• Overseeing Ministry through our online ministry platforms for students.
• Displaying Christ-like lifestyle not only in the church but also in the community at large.
• Incorporating students into various church ministries OUTSIDE of student ministry environments.

EDUCATION:

The right candidate will have a four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university. Preference is given to a pastoral or other ministry-related degree.

EXPERIENCE:

Our hope is to hire a Youth Pastor with some ministry leadership experience but are open to individuals from other backgrounds.
