POSITION PROFILE:
Regency Park Church is seeking a high-level, high-capacity, hungry-to-learn leader who can work both independently and collaboratively as the Associate Pastor.

This minister will possess the skills to plan, organize, create and improve processes, and effectively lead and shepherd people. This individual must be a self-starter. While exercising strong leadership gifts, she/he must understand that organizational and administrative tasks are not an end in themselves but rather one of the ways God develops the spiritual health and well being of His church.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve on the pastoral staff team
  • Share in general pastoral responsibilities
  • Participate in the leadership of other ministries as needed
  • Demonstrates high level of organizational skills, integrity and confidentiality
  • Communicates a passion for excellence and continuous improvement
  • Provide leadership over multi-faceted areas of the church (including, but not limited to children, teen, outreach, etc.)

PASTORAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain a Christ-honoring relationship with all pastors, board, staff, and volunteers
  • Foster effective relationships with staff by understanding their strengths through mentoring and time investment
  • Work with pastors to maintain a focus on reaching our community by serving our community
  • Engage in spiritual encouragement and counsel as opportunities arise
  • Be a part of the preaching team

EDUCATION:

The right candidate will have a four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university. Preference is given to a pastoral or other ministry-related degree.

EXPERIENCE:

Our hope is to hire an Associate Pastor with some ministry leadership experience but are open to individuals from other backgrounds.
