Youth Pastor

Overview:

Liberty Bible Church is a vibrant community dedicated to living out the teachings of Jesus Christ and spreading the message of hope and salvation. Our mission is to build a loving and supportive environment where individuals and families can grow in their faith, connect with God, and serve others. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Youth Pastor to lead and nurture our youth ministry, which plays a vital role in our church’s mission. The ideal candidate will have a heart for young people, a strong commitment to biblical teaching, and a vision for developing a vibrant youth community.

Key Responsibilities:

Spiritual Leadership:

Develop and implement a comprehensive youth ministry program that aligns with Liberty Bible Church’s vision and values of discipleship, community, and service.

Provide biblical teaching and discipleship to youth through regular meetings, retreats, and events that encourage spiritual growth and personal development.

Lead youth in worship and prayer, facilitating a deeper relationship with Christ and fostering a culture of worship.

Relationship Building:

Cultivate strong relationships with youth, parents, and volunteers to create a welcoming and supportive environment that reflects the love of Christ.

Be available for counseling and support to youth facing personal or spiritual challenges, demonstrating empathy and guidance.

Event Planning and Coordination:

Organize and lead youth events, including weekly meetings, retreats, mission trips, and community service projects that engage youth in meaningful experiences.

Collaborate with other church ministries to promote intergenerational fellowship and outreach initiatives, connecting youth with the broader church community.

Volunteer Development:

Recruit, train, and empower a volunteer team to assist in leading youth activities and small groups, creating a strong team of leaders who model faith and service.

Communication and Outreach:

Maintain regular communication with youth and parents through newsletters, social media, and church announcements, keeping them informed and engaged.

Develop outreach programs aimed at engaging unchurched youth in the community, reflecting Liberty Bible Church’s commitment to reaching out with love and service.

Administration:

Maintain accurate records of youth participation to monitor growth and engagement.

Manage the youth ministry budget and resources.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry, or a related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in youth ministry or a related role. Proven ability to connect with youth and lead them in spiritual growth.

Skills:

Strong communication, organizational, team building and interpersonal skills.

Ability to teach and preach effectively to youth.
