Who We Are:
At Lafayette Nazarene, we define our mission as “connecting our community to Christ.” Our style is real, not flashy — we value authenticity over performance. We’re looking for a Worship Arts Pastor who shares that heart and can help lead our church into meaningful, spirit-filled worship experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading our Sunday worship gatherings with passion, humility, and musical excellence.
• Building and mentoring worship teams — musicians, vocalists, tech, and creative arts.
• Partnering with our Lead Pastor and staff to design services that are creative, Spirit-led, and gospel-centered.
• Helping our church grow deeper in worship — not just through music, but through storytelling, visuals, and other creative expressions.
• Investing in our young adult ministry — helping create spaces for community, discipleship, and spiritual growth among college students and twenty-somethings.
• Overseeing tech and production (we use stuff like ProPresenter, lighting, livestreams — no need to be an expert, just willing to learn and lead).
• Pastoring your teams — not just scheduling them.

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone with a genuine relationship with Jesus and a deep love for the local church.
• A strong musician and vocalist (guitar or keyboard skills are a big plus).
• A leader who can develop others, not just do it all themselves.
• A heart for young adults and a desire to help them find authentic community and deeper faith.
• A creative mind that’s open to trying new things to help people connect with God.
• Good communication, organization, and relational skills.
• Some experience leading worship in a church setting is preferred — but heart, calling, and chemistry matter most to us.

Bonus Points If You:

• Have skills in audio, video, graphic design, or other creative arts.
• Love collaborating and dreaming big with a team.
• Are passionate about both reaching new people and helping believers grow deeper.
