Worship Arts Intern

Overview:
As a Worship Arts Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to develop practical skills in worship leadership, music ministry, and creative arts. You will work closely with the lead pastor, worship teams, and technical arts teams to plan, coordinate, and execute worship services that engage and inspire the community.

This is a paid position, and compensation will be based on experience. Additionally, there is potential for this internship to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate, depending on leadership abilities and the response of the church community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Worship Band Leadership:
  Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring individuals for the worship band, providing guidance on musical performance, spiritual growth, and team dynamics.
• Worship Leadership:
  Lead worship during weekly community worship gatherings and events, encouraging participation and creating an atmosphere conducive to spiritual reflection and connection.
• Worship Ministry Collaboration:
  Take part in planning meetings with pastors and creative teams to develop themes and creative concepts for worship services.
• Rehearsal Direction:
  Lead and facilitate rehearsals for the worship band, ensuring smooth transitions, musical precision, and team cohesiveness.
• Service Preparation:
  Prepare worship service elements, including slides, service logistics, and song charts, to ensure the smooth running of each service.
• Creative Development:
  Develop an understanding of how arts and creative expression can be leveraged for spiritual growth and community engagement. This internship provides a hands-on learning experience in a worship setting, ideal for someone seeking to pursue a career in ministry, worship leadership, or creative arts. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of how the arts can impact spiritual communities and build confidence as a leader.

Preferred Skills: Experience with tools such as ProPresenter, Planning Center Online, and Song Select is highly beneficial.
