About Gallatin First Church of the Nazarene

Gallatin First Church of the Nazarene is a healthy and growing church in the heart of middle Tennessee. The church has a roster of just over 450 people and has a weekly average church attendance of roughly 220. The children's ministry has a roster of about 80 children. Our services tend to be very full on Sunday and so we are in the process of launching a second service on Thursday nights for people who can not attend church services on Sunday. We have discipleship programs for the children during a traditional Sunday School hour before worship on Sunday. Our children worship in a children's church context on Sundays. We have a regular rhythm of "family worship Sunday" where the children join with the sanctuary worship service. We also have regular mid-week programming during the school year for youth and children on Wednesday nights.

Gallatin Tennessee and Sumner County is a growing area just outside of Nashville Tennessee. It is a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family. We are ideally situated with access to Nashville and all a city of its size offers in one direction and state parks, nature, and farmland in the other direction. Sumner county has excellent schools, recreation, shopping, and dining options.
