Pastor of Casa de Gracia

Job Description:

The Pastor of Casa de Gracia oversees our Hispanic congregation. This comes through vision casting to the church and promoting the Gospel to our community. This person will report to the lead pastor and the board of the Fairfield Church of the Nazarene.

The ideal candidate will be:

·       Nazarene or have a holiness background.

·       Able to speak both Spanish and English.

·       Has the ability to relocate in a timely manner and be a United States Citizen.

 

Responsibilities:

1.    Teaching/Worship Administration

·       Serve as the primary teacher in regular Hispanic church gatherings, either through direct expository preaching or mentoring other gifted teachers.

·       Create weekly worship services and administer the sacraments.

·       Work to build up the Hispanic church members so they are growing in the faith of Christ.

·       Primary focus of prayer and ministry of God’s Word.

 

 

2.    Outreach

·       Active in evangelism in the community through personal and organized efforts.

·       Lead and equip Hispanic church members to be Christ’s witnesses: locally, regionally, and globally.

 

 

3.    Leadership

·       Work with Lead Pastor of Fairfield Church of the Nazarene to advance Christ’s kingdom in the local communities.

·       Train and disciple new converts.

·       Assist in cultivating healthy relationships within the community and church.

 

 

4.    Care for the Church Body

·       Visit members in their homes as needed.

·       Provide Biblical counseling as needed.

·       Visit members in the hospital, prison, etc.

About Casa de Gracia:

We are a Nazarene Church located in Fairfield, Ohio. God has blessed us with a community of many Spanish-speaking neighbors and with a Hispanic ministry since 2013. Our Hispanic pastor of over 6 years left to start a new ministry in Arkansas and our Hispanic ministry is primed for a great future. We have over 4,000 Spanish-speaking people in our community. The need for Gospel outreach is great.
