Edmond First Church of the Nazarene
Help us build a community where kids and families know they belong.
Edmond First Church of the Nazarene is looking for an engaging, relational leader to help shape our ministry to children (birth through 6th grade) and their families. We’re looking for someone who loves helping kids discover Jesus, builds genuine relationships with parents, and helps families find meaningful connections within the larger church community.
We believe church should be a place where every child knows they are loved by God and by His people. A place where kids feel safe, have fun, build friendships, and look forward to coming each week. We want children to develop meaningful relationships with caring adults who help them discover what it means to know Jesus and follow Him in everyday life.
Edmond First is an established congregation in a growing community, entering a new season of ministry and leadership. We’re ready to make a significant investment in the next generation and are looking for someone excited to help imagine, design, and build a children’s ministry that makes a lasting difference in the lives of kids and families.
We’re looking for someone who connects naturally with children and parents, brings people together, and enjoys turning ideas into action. Someone who can encourage and equip volunteers, build relationships across generations, and help cultivate a church culture where children and families are known, connected, and valued.
We’re especially interested in a creative, collaborative leader who is curious about new approaches, eager to learn from effective ministry practices, and willing to try new things. We value character, initiative, relational gifts, and a heart for people more than a particular résumé. Ministry education and experience are welcome, but we’re equally interested in emerging leaders who are excited to help build something meaningful.
The position may be structured as part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate’s experience, gifts, and the needs of the ministry. Specific responsibilities and compensation will be discussed as we explore the right fit together.

We’d love to start a conversation! Send a résumé and a brief introduction about yourself, your ministry experience, and what excites you about serving children and families.
