Summary of role:

Through creative initiatives, communication, and collaboration, help tell CrossPoint Church’s ongoing story to support our mission of leading people to be passionate followers of Christ in a way that demonstrates that we are FOR everyone. What can only the Creative Arts Pastor do?

Vision Cast for the Creative Arts Ministry
Lead the Creative Arts Team (Worship and Production)
Be a Leader of Worship/Production Leaders
Key Responsibilities:

Spiritual and Personal Development – 5% of timePrioritize personal and spiritual growth through prayer, meditation, and scripture study.
Leader of Leaders – 35% of timeProvide mentorship and guidance to volunteers and ministry leaders in a way that demonstrates that serving in worship or production is an opportunity for discipleship.
Identify, recruit, train, and mentor leaders within the church community.
Delegate responsibilities and empower volunteers to fulfill their roles effectively.
Worship Leadership – 10% of timePlan, coordinate, and lead worship services with the lead pastor, worship team, and production team.
Creative Development and Execution – 30% of timeFoster a culture of creativity and artistic expression within the church.
Lead and implement the system that comes up with creative elements for service planning.
Collaborate with volunteers and other staff to implement the creative elements from service planning meetings.
Production Oversight – 10% of timeLead and collaborate with the production team to innovate and improve the worship experience through technology.
Budget and Resource Management – 10% of timeDevelop and manage the creative arts budgets.
Oversee the purchase and maintenance of musical instruments and technical equipment.
Seek out and utilize available resources to enhance the creative arts ministry.

Intentional about leading the ministry areas from a biblical perspective.
We would be excited to see:

Worship Leading experience
Experience in Graphic Design, film-making, and web development.
Desire to take full ownership of assigned projects and work independently.
BA in Ministry or equivalent experience (or a willingness to obtain a certificate in ministry).
