Worship Pastor Candidate should be able to:

Lead vocally & with an Instrument

Organize and schedule the worship team (band, choir, praise team, orchestra, Media/sound tech)

Knowledgable in Worship Media & Sound Technology (Propresenter 7, Planning center, Live streaming, Vimeo)

Work well as a staff and team player- willing to collaborate

Serve on the church-wide Organic Outreach Influence leadership team

Specific Ministry roles:

Collaborate with the Senior Pastor on planning and execution of the entire worship service (at times with staff, and committee leaders)

Attend weekly staff meetings

Serve on the Columbia First Organic Outreach Leadership Team (meets 1x’s/month)

Participate in all worship services and other special services (funerals, weddings, special seasonal services)

Provide advice & oversight in sound/tech needs

Develop volunteers to serve in the Worship Ministry

Willing to build relationships/connections at local universities

Strategize ways to use the worship ministry as an outreach within the community
