Overview
We are looking for someone who can help lead worship on Sunday morning. We cannot offer a salary but could offer a small stipend to cover gas. This would be a great situation for a student at Asbury Seminary or Asbury College looking for ministry experience. We are only 25 minutes from Wilmore, KY in the heart of Lexington. We currently have a piano player and our worship team is intergenerational (several children are regular members of the worship team). We would like to continue to include people of all ages in leading worship. We sing both hymns and contemporary worship songs.
About Calvary Church of the Nazarene
Calvary is a small but mighty church in the heart of Lexington. We serve a diverse community in the Cardinal Valley neighborhood. We desire to share hope with the hopeless. We have a vibrant ministry team with an upside down Kingdom approach to leadership. Our congregation is a mix of senior adults and young people. Half of our Sunday morning worshippers are under the age of 18.
