Cactus Nazarene Ministry Center (CNMC) seeks an Executive Director to work in Cactus, TX and:
· Lead the spiritual development of the organization and ensure that the Cactus Nazarene Ministry Center (CNMC) operates in accordance with the Bible.
· Responsible for the spiritual guidance and spiritual health of the Center staff which may involve counseling staff regarding their relationship with God and their interpersonal problems.
· Oversee existing and future ministries and programs of CNMC
· Analyze revenue and program cost to determine budget priorities.
· Collaborate with other ministry members to establish goals and objectives for programs and to develop ways to encourage program participation.
· Ensure that taxes are filed, insurance is maintained, and federal labor filings are completed.
· Identify and recruit potential volunteer workers.
· Participate in Church of the Nazarene conferences, meetings and activities to share with pastors and denominational offices so as to promote the ministries of the CNMC and encourage engagement and participation.
· Responsible for fundraising
· Site Director for Immigrant Connection at Cactus Nazarene Ministry
· Serve as member of the Board and provide reports to Board of Directors and Assembly of the West Texas District of the Church of the Nazarene.
The applicant is required to have a Bachelor’s degree in any field plus five years experience in a management position or related occupation. Will accept someone who has only completed the requirements for a bachelor’s degree.
The applicant is also required to have the following:
· Experience leading staff in a multifaceted organization
· Experience formulating and implementing policies, goals, and objectives
· Experience in all aspects of the finance sector
· Experience in an Intercultural environment
· Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities
· Church of the Nazarene District Ministerial License
· Experience utilizing technology in order to streamline the work of the organization and ensure best time management
Travel throughout the U.S. approximately 12 times a year – 3-4 days each trip. Permitted to live on-site with free utilities.
