Brampton Church of the Nazarene is located in the city of Brampton, just northwest of Toronto. This 71 year old congregation is an integral part of a multicultural community. The Church operates Happy Life Childcare Centre, a thriving daycare which ministers to approximately 100 children.
Brampton Church of the Nazarene is in a season of transition and is seeking a Lead Pastor who senses God’s call to the City of Brampton. We desire a pastor who is committed to personal and corporate prayer, with preaching/teaching abilities, a shepherding heart, and a resolute commitment to engage Brampton Church in authentic mission and outreach into the surrounding Brampton neighborhood.
Brampton Church is a congregation of the Canada Central District Church of the Nazarene. The successful applicant will be in agreement with the doctrines and polity of the Church of the Nazarene, preferably with ministry experience in a Wesleyan Holiness context.
He or She will need to be currently eligible to work in Canada.
The Lead Pastor will report directly to and provide regular updates to the Church Board. The Lead Pastor’s performance will be evaluated by the Church Board and Canada Central District Superintendent, as per the Manual of the Church of the Nazarene.
