Lead Pastor

The Belfast Church of the Nazarene is seeking a Pastor for our Church in Belfast, Maine. The candidate for the position will need to be bi-vocational or retired. We seek a SPIRIT-filled Christian who has a heart for the lost and a love for GOD’s people. We have a very active Youth Program here in Belfast. We look forward to sharing work, praise and fellowship with you as you lead our Church. Below is the pay that we can currently afford but, with your leadership and our Church’s growth, we expect that to increase.

 

Weekly Pay – $225 dollars

Added Pay – 50% of all money taken in over $1,000 avg. per week based on

each month ($4,000 based avg. per month)

Example – Monthly Offering = $6,000 dollars

$2,000 dollars over the base x 50% = $1,000 dollars for the month

(This excludes one-time large gifts over $500 dollars)

Pastoral Monthly Love Offering: Taken on the third Sunday of each month.

 

Example: If the Pastor were to see an average monthly offering of $5,000 dollars, the following would be the result:

 

$225 dollars weekly pay for one month = $900 dollars

50% of $1,000 dollars                     = $500 dollars

Pastoral Monthly Love Offering       = $300 dollars

Total compensation for the month   = $1,700 dollars

Times12 months would be a yearly pay of $20,400 dollars
