Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver messages with strong conviction that challenge young adults to pursue a life of holiness in following Jesus by developing and living out their own personal faith (“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” – 1 Tim 4:12).
Build a leadership team of adults that care for young adults and are background checked.
Creating a service environment that connects young adults to the growth track, Daymakers, to worship, pray, build healthy community and challenges them to grow as leaders within the church.
Build teams that involve young adults and empower them as leaders.
Strategically promoting Weekend Worship Services, Retreats, Camps and Conferences (i.e. Urbana or Passion).
Actively participating in social media on a regular basis for young adults to stay connected to young adult activities and service projects.
Intentionally build relationships with Nazarene churches to network and grow connection.
Connect with colleges within the community to enable young adults to participate in young adult services.
Actively following up with every young adult that fills out a connection card from a weekend services.
Relationally serve young adults pastoral care needs and create personal growth plans for young adults to receive and or experience healing, restoration, deliverance, freedom, and the process of redemption.
Liaison for all Small Group systems and structure implemented by Amplify Church staff
Liaison for all Growth Track systems and structure for young adults. Liaison for all young adult Daymakers systems and structure implemented.
Coordinate summer schedule, create and maintain budget.
Take on responsibility for pastoral care needs with young adults as needed.

Experience and Knowledge Required:
Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on young adult ministry experience.
Consistent involvement with the pastoral needs of young adults.
Systematic team building and leadership development.
Ability to communicate vision.
Young adult ministry health assessment, analysis, and restructuring.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook
Must be willing to learn Planning Center and other new programs as needed.
Some leadership and administrative experience a plus.
Must be energetic and able to stand or sit for lengths of time as needed.
Able to help and lead set up for different conferences, events, service projects and Saturday/Sunday services
