We are looking for someone who is self motivated with strong communication and leadership abilities, with a Godly, kind and compassionate heart toward those we serve and those you are serving alongside.
Duties include but not limited to: Oversee food pantry operations, food delivery operations, Volunteer coordination, maintain relationships with food donors and Food Bank of Alaska that supply our food resources, as well as develop new resources. Oversee functionality and needs for Celebrate Recovery ministry growth, work with leadership and volunteers serving in cooking classes and educational opportunities to make sure they have what they need and they run smoothly. Work alongside Executive Director to cast vision for growth and new areas of service to those in need in our community. Ability to drive large trucks (no CDL required), lift heavy boxes of food, be on your feet and work closely with people. We are wanting someone who can take what we currently do and help move it into the future with vision and forethought.
The person applying does not have to be a pastor, however there are elements of the position that require a pastors heart for people. Alaska is an exciting and beautiful place to live. It is not for everyone, but if you are up for adventure and serving in a very missional field we would love to talk with you.
