This is a full time position focused primarily on facilitating the experience of worship, including liturgical flow, music, and presentation. It is expected that the person to fill this role will lead a team of musicians and technicians to help us be our best during our worship gatherings. It is our further hope that the person to fill this position would spend some of the weekly hours creating and engaging with a young adult group, a particular need for our community.
Keeping office hours is reasonably expected, especially for weekly staff meetings; though we also know that ministry most often takes place outside the building. Attendance and participation in regularly scheduled church activities is a must. We would like this person to be engaged in healthy spiritual practices, that they may be growing in grace. We also hope that this person would continue their professional development during their time in our community. We hope that this person will share in our staff culture, which is supportive, cooperative, and imaginative.
