Niagara Heights Church of the Nazarene

Niagara Heights Church is located in the city of Thorold, in the Niagara Region in the province of Ontario. We thank God that He has kept our church in continued existence for 71 years (2025)! We praise Him for his grace and blessings over these many years.

We are a small, united, friendly, and compassionate church family who wants to impact our community with the message of Christ through our words, actions and deeds as the Holy Spirit leads us.

We are now in a period of transition as our current Pastor is in the process of retirement from pastoral ministry and we are seeking a Pastor who feels God’s call to lead Niagara Heights Church into the next stage of ministry. We seek an individual who is spirit-filled, prayer focused, compassionate and dedicated to the Lord and to the people of the church and the area we serve. This is a part-time 20 hours/week position.

Niagara Heights Church is a congregation of the Canada Central District Church of the Nazarene. The successful applicant will be in agreement with the doctrines and polity of the Church of the Nazarene, preferably with ministry experience in a Wesleyan Holiness context.

He or She will need to be currently eligible to work in Canada.

The Lead Pastor will report directly to and provide regular updates to the Church Board. The Lead Pastor’s performance will be evaluated by the Church Board and Canada Central District Superintendent, as per the Manual of the Church of the Nazarene.
