Blanchard is a rapidly growing community in northwest Louisiana, offering an exciting opportunity to build a vibrant student ministry in a flourishing town. With its close proximity to Shreveport and strong family-oriented culture, Blanchard is an ideal place to minister to students and shape the next generation of Christ-followers. BNC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Student Pastor to lead and disciple the next generation. The ideal candidate will have a heart for students and a vision for developing a thriving youth ministry in a growing area.
Responsibilities
Spiritual Leadership: Teach and disciple students (middle school and high school) in biblical truth, encouraging spiritual growth and a personal relationship with Christ.
Program Development: Organize and lead weekly youth gatherings, Bible studies, and special events to engage students in faith and fellowship.
Mentorship & Outreach: Build relationships with students and their families, providing guidance and support while creating opportunities for outreach in the community.
Church Integration: Foster a culture where youth are actively involved in the broader church body through worship, service projects, and ministry opportunities.
Collaboration: Work alongside the senior pastor and church board to align the student ministry with the overall mission and vision of the church.
Community Engagement: Connect with local schools and youth organizations to build relationships and promote the church’s presence in the Blanchard community.
Qualifications

- A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a clear calling to youth ministry.

- A deep understanding of and commitment to the Church of the Nazarene’s Wesleyan-Holiness theology.

- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to connect with students and parents.

- Experience in youth ministry (volunteer or paid) is preferred but not required.

- Willingness to live missionally and invest in a growing community.
