Website Washington First Church of the Nazarene

Welcome to Washington First Church of the Nazarene where we as a church are always focusing on, “Each One Win One” and how can each day be a day to introduce Jesus to someone! Whether it is through the scriptures or simply living out the life Jesus showed us to live, we are focused on our community and loving them like Jesus!

Many things have taken place over the last 8 months. We were down to nearly 25 each week; today, we are averaging closer to 55 strong and still finding new ways to connect with both today’s generation and the older generation.

With such strong growth, we have watched and seen lives saved and recommitted to Jesus! We have watched families’ relationships restored and renewed! And now, some are asking to be baptized as the weather gets nicer! With so much physical growth and spiritual growth, the church has decided to do some remodels and be finished with them before Easter Sunday. From upgrades to our sanctuary to building a coffee shop-like area in our coffee room/foyer. We are working on and finding new ways to grow and connect with all generations!

This position right now is very part-time with only a stipend, but it will go into more as the church continues to grow, so this position would require bi-vocational.

What I hope for, is you will genuinely take the time to pray over this. We are seeking a youth pastor or youth leader who is only focused on the calling of God, and trusting that when He leads, God will provide! When He leads, God will supply!
