The Ravenna Church of the Nazarene is a church of Christians who are G.L.A.D, believers who GO, LOVE, and DO. We are seeking a Worship Pastor who can partner with us to live out our mission to Estill County.
We are seeking a person or couple to lead our worship times through music. This position is part of the team working with and reporting to the Pastor and church board.
What we are looking for:
· A heart surrendered to Jesus and growing in the grace of God.
· A passionate calling for using musical gifts to see lives transformed through the Holy Spirit.
· A person who treasures the traditional while desiring to integrate and blend in the modern.
· A humbleness that exhibits patience, professionalism, and a Christ-like example.
· A love for people and seeing them passionately fall in love with Jesus.
The expectations for the role:
· Selecting the music for Sunday mornings and other special services
· Lead and empower others through music on Sunday mornings
· Meet with the Pastor regularly
· Lead by example what it means to be a disciple of Jesus
