What Prairie Heights is looking for:
An experienced leader who is passionate about leading teams who create welcoming environments during our Sunday Experience and is eager to connect with new guests during the week. Someone who can manage, schedule, and facilitate volunteer development. We are looking for a leader who loves people and excels at inspiring others to be part of a bigger mission.
The Guest Services leader will be responsible for the leadership and development of the Guest Services team which includes over 100 volunteers, as well as leading our retail environments (Rosie’s Coffee Shop & Next Steps). This person must have the ability to design and implement an exceptional guest experience so people will want to keep coming back.
What will you do?
- Cast and communicate vision for the Guest Services Team, including door and parking lot greeters, lobby greeters, coffee team, Next Steps, Volunteer Central host team and usher and connector teams.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Guest Service Volunteers.
- Lead the way in creating an exceptional guest service experience every Sunday by going above and beyond for people.
- Recruitment and retention of Guest Service volunteers.
- Creatively brainstorm and execute lobby decor consistently throughout the year.
- Execute first time guest processes in a timely and guest friendly manner to ensure people can get connected at Prairie Heights.
- Be part of other Prairie Heights connection events (PH Connect, Launch, Baptism, etc)
- Responsible for ordering of all supplies needed to create the best guest service experience in each area of oversight.
- Oversight of budgeting for both retail and guest services.
Required Qualifications:
Required Experience:
- Follower of Jesus
- 3 years of leadership experience including developing teams
- Demonstrated experience recruiting, training and leading volunteer teams
- Self-Directed with ability to manage multiple projects successfully
- Retail or customer service experience
- Demonstrated experience developing a vision, creating goals, and measuring growth
- Commitment to the process of emotional health and self-care in all areas of their life
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
