Worship Leader

The role of the Worship Leader is to oversee all aspects of worship and media. The Worship Leader serves as a member of the staff team and is directly accountable to the Lead Pastor. 

This is currently a voluntary position.

 
What we are looking for in a Worship Leader:
–  Ability to lead vocally & with an Instrument (piano/keyboard preferred)
–  Be knowledgeable in Worship Media & Sound Technology (i.e. Pro presenter) 
–  Be a vital member of the leadership team with the heart to lead people to Jesus
–  Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading and guiding through active prayer life
–  Take responsibility and initiative
–  Team player and team builder who focuses on the good of the entire organization
–  Stay fit (spiritually, relationally, financially)
–  Be in agreement with and able to teach The Church of the Nazarene’s Articles of Faith and Covenant of Christian Conduct

Specific Ministry roles:
–  Collaborate with the Lead Pastor on planning and execution of the entire worship service
–  Participate in all worship services and other special services (funerals, weddings, special seasonal services)
–  Provide advice & oversight in sound/tech needs
–  Develop volunteers to serve in the Worship Ministry
–  Strategize ways to use the worship ministry as an outreach within the community
