Children’s Director (Part-Time)

West Side Nazarene Church in Wichita, KS is seeking a paid, part-time Children’s Director to further the mission of the church and reach children for Christ through children’s ministries in a Nazarene/Wesleyan atmosphere. A church with the capacity to grow, located on a major street in the largest city in Kansas, West Side’s mission is: LIVE like Jesus, LOVE people and give hope, and GROW through the power of the Holy Spirit.  Position will remain open until filled.  Interested applicants should email a resume to: office@wnaz.org.

Job Requirements:

·         20 hours per week

·         Be responsible for selecting curriculum for weekly lessons on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings

·         Organizing Vacation Bible School

·         Chaperoning at summer camps for the children

·         Overseeing children’s performances at church

·         Organizing volunteers and planning for children’s services and events

·         Fostering the spiritual development of the children and volunteers
