We’re looking for a Youth Pastor who loves students deeply, communicates the gospel clearly, and knows how to build a ministry that students actually want to be part of. Someone who can preach truth, create belonging, raise up leaders, and make everyday conversations matter.

This role is about more than programming events.

It’s about building disciples.

What You’ll Get To Do

Lead Students Toward Jesus

You’ll create a ministry culture where students encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and learn how to live it out in everyday life.

You’ll:

• Cast vision and lead the overall direction of student ministry
• Teach engaging, biblically grounded messages that connect with Middle School and High School students
• Create discipleship environments through small groups, mentoring, retreats, camps, and weekly gatherings
• Build spaces where students feel safe, known, challenged, and loved
• Help students take real next steps in their faith

Build Something Students Want To Invite Friends To

You’ll:

• Create engaging environments students genuinely enjoy being part of
• Build authentic relationships with students and families
• Develop and lead volunteer teams who love mentoring teenagers
• Plan events, hangouts, trips, and experiences that create connection and community
• Foster a culture where every student feels like they belong before they believe

Raise Up The Next Generation Of Leaders

We don’t just want students attending ministry.
We want students leading ministry.

You’ll:

• Help students discover their gifts and calling
• Develop student leadership teams
• Create opportunities for outreach, service, and missions
• Empower students to influence their schools, teams, and friend groups for Jesus

Be Part Of A Team

You won’t be doing ministry alone.

You’ll collaborate with a strong staff culture that values teamwork, encouragement, growth, and healthy leadership rhythms.

You’ll also:

• Participate in teaching opportunities across the church
• Help support churchwide ministry initiatives
• Engage in pastoral care moments as needed
• Collaborate with ministry leaders and church staff regularly

Who We’re Looking For

You might be a great fit if you are:

• Passionately pursuing Jesus in your own life
• A strong communicator who connects naturally with students
• Relational, approachable, and emotionally healthy
• Experienced in leading students, teams, or volunteers
• Creative, adaptable, and self-motivated
• More focused on discipleship than just attendance
• Theologically aligned with the Church of the Nazarene
• Licensed or willing to pursue licensing in the Church of the Nazarene

Position Details

• Full-Time Salaried Position
• Minimum 40 hours/week
• Includes evenings and weekends
• Background check required
