Website Mirror Lake Retreat Center (Metro NY District)
This is a dual-appointment position. It is a part-time pastoral position at the Valley Community Church of the Nazarene (Clinton Corners, NY) and part-time at the Mirror Lake Retreat Center (Milan, NY). Combined the roles function as full-time.
The pastoral position is to:
Be in charge of all Sunday sermon itinerary including set up with video, sound, computer input.
Counsel, mentor, and disciple our congregants based upon the need.
Lead board meetings and administrate the life of the church, including cultivating a vision for the church’s future.
Minister sermons that address today’s world with inspiration to guide our people to a future of hope, as well as salvation messages to bring people to Jesus and Jesus to people (our motto).
Be available to our congregants and visitors.
Support ministries and bible studies as we can all learn and grow together in the Lord.
The role at Mirror Lake Retreat Center is to serve as a District Liaison. The Liaison provides strategic leadership in three primary areas:
Campus Technology Oversight
Retreat & Training Development
Partnership & Facility Utilization Development
The position reports directly to the District Superintendent and works collaboratively with the Executive Director of Mirror Lake Retreat Center.
