Children’s Pastor – Full-Time | The Point Church | San Jose, CA
The Point Church is a vibrant, growing community in San Jose, CA, passionate about helping families thrive in faith. We’re on a mission to make “KidsPoint” (birth–5th grade) spiritually deep, wildly fun, and family-focused.
Our vision is to transform KidsPoint into the heartbeat of The Point: where kids meet Jesus, parents feel equipped, and volunteers are celebrated.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a 3-year plan to define and achieve great engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
Recruit, train, and shepherd volunteers; 100% background checks.
Implement Orange-level (or better) curriculum; lead Sunday flow: check-in → games → worship → story → small groups → prize table.
Ensure children’s spaces are clean, colorful, secure, Bible-themed.
Partner with parents, provide resources on salvation, anxiety, bullying; host Lego nights and hikes, for example
Ensure every kid leaves excited.
What We’re Looking For
Passionate about kids’ faith and family discipleship
3+ years children’s ministry experience preferred
Organized, relational, fun; team player
