Hope in the Valley

1. PASTORAL CARE & COUNSELING:

  • Facilitate teams to care for people connected to New Life through counseling in times of trauma such as illness, death in the family, family problems, and personal problems.
  • Recruit Champions and Team Members who are capable of leading and caring for others spiritually and emotionally
  • Oversee visitation of those from our congregation who are in crisis, going in for surgery, in the hospital, or shut-in.
  • Oversee Compassionate Ministry so that congregants are ministered to effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategies for follow-up with needs shared on Connect Cards

2. CARE GROUPS

  • Equip Care Group Leaders with approved curriculum resources (ie. Divorce Care/Grief Share)
  • Create and maintain systems to identify and invite those within our congregations and community that should be a part of current care groups
  • Provide clear and easy ways for people to get connected to Care Teams
  • Oversee Care Group’s Leaders, function, and follow-up

3. WEDDINGS AND FUNERALS

  • Facilitate Weddings and Funerals as requested by congregants
  • Facilitate premarital counseling

4. Guest Services

  • Provide Direct Leadership of Guest Services Teams
  • Oversee Champions and Leaders responsible for creating a positive and welcoming experience for all guests for all services: Guest Services desk, Greeting, Cafe, Ushers, Parking, and Safety
  • Schedule, recruit, develop, lead, train, and equip teams who go the second mile
  •  Regularly meet with Team Champions and Leaders for training and building relationships
  • Develop and maintain communication with other ministry team directors to ensure a seamless experience for our guests
  • Ensure attendees can easily and quickly access sign-ups or any other promoted initiatives at the Hub
