Website Grace Point Church of the Nazarene

We believe Jesus has instructed us to go and make disciples and everything we do at Grace Point Church is to help fulfill the Great Commission. The Director of Media Ministry has a significant role in that process. The Director will help shape our discipleship culture by setting the tone for our worship gatherings, supporting our ministry teams, developing media ministry leaders who focus on the mission, and touching every ministry of the church through media support and engagement. Ultimately, the Director of Media will help us transform lives for the sake of the Gospel by turning every tech related task of ministry at Grace Point Church into an opportunity to minister the presence of Jesus.

The Director of Media Ministry will set the vision for the Media Ministry at Grace Point Church in conjunction with the Lead Pastor. This includes selecting and training coordinators for each of the media ministry teams, maintaining healthy and growing relationships with team members, and supporting the other ministries’ weekly media related needs, especially the needs of the worship ministry.

Primarily, this Director role is for a point leader who is creative, technologically savvy, and loves mentoring and raising up leaders. The person for this role will be successful when they create healthy systems, raise up new leaders, and build sustainable teams. These leaders will in turn oversee the media tech for the worship service including presentation media, lights, sound, video production, and online streaming, as well as media creation for communication and social media purposes.

This role will report directly to the lead pastor, work most closely with the Worship Pastor, and will collaborate with the pastors, administrative staff and many key volunteers serving at Grace Point Church.
