Worship and College Pastor

The Worship and College Pastor is responsible for planning and leading engaging, Christ-centered, Spirit-filled worship experiences that align with the church’s vision and sermon themes. This role includes collaborating with the pastoral team, mentoring and developing volunteer worship team members, and incorporating creative and culturally relevant elements to foster meaningful congregational participation. Additionally, the leader oversees the college ministry, “Table”, by planning weekly gatherings and connection events, building relationships with students, managing the ministry budget, and helping students grow in their faith and integrate into the life of the church.

This position plays a vital role in leading the church to Bless Our Community, Bring People to Jesus, and Become Christlike Disciples.

Key Responsibilities
1. Worship Leadership
– Plan and lead engaging, Christ-centered, Spirit-filled worship experiences.
– Collaborate with the pastoral team to design services that align worship elements with sermon themes.
– Incorporate creative and culturally relevant elements into worship to enhance congregational engagement.
– Develop and mentor volunteer worship team members, cultivating musical and spiritual growth.
– Pursue excellence in musicality, technology, and team leadership to ensure a smooth and meaningful worship experience.

2. College Leadership

– Plan and lead college ministry events
– Weekly gathering Sunday evenings
– Weekly coffee and connection time
– Build relationships with college students.
– Manage the college budget.
– Think creatively on how to assimilate students into the church. 
– Teach students to become more like Jesus.
