PF Community Church of the Nazarene
Job Title: Associate Pastor – Youth, Worship, or Sports Ministries
Reports to: Lead Pastor
Classification: Full-Time (40–45 hours/week)
Location: PF Community Church of the Nazarene(formerly Pasadena First Church of the Nazarene, Texas)
Position Overview
PF Community Church is seeking a passionate and dynamic Associate Pastor to lead different vital areas of ministry: youth and family engagement, worship leadership, and sports programming through PF Sports. This full-time role is ideal for a ministry-minded individual who can wear multiple hats and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and outreach-oriented church environment. We are looking to combine at least two of the ministry opportunities into a full-time role, or hire part-time staff for each position of youth and family engagement, worship, and sports through PF Sports
This position combines pastoral care, discipleship, worship leadership, and sports program administration with the goal of connecting the community to Christ through creative and relevant ministries. The Associate Pastor will work closely with church leadership to develop programs that disciple young people, cultivate worship environments, and use sports as a tool for evangelism and relationship-building.
Currently, there are around 15 youth connected to church families, and many opportunities for more through PF Sports. The music team consists of 4-6 individuals who play on Sundays, and a tech team of three individuals. Our music consists of current worship music with hymns occasionally. PF Sports offers basketball, soccer, and volleyball throughout the year, while hopefully adding summer day camps soon as well. We have around 1,000 annual registrations, and on a typical Saturday, we will have 1,500-2,000 guests on our campus to watch and cheer on sports participants. The lead pastor started the Sports program in 2021 and is still running PF Sports. He is committed to staying involved with the Sports and helping with the logistical side of the Sports ministry if needed.
